Golden Views
"The Redstone" is one of the most iconic residential boutique buildings in tony Russian Hill. Perched atop a steep bluff that elevates each floor even higher into the sky, the views across the City and Bay are breathtaking. Designed by early 20th-century architect Henry Clay Smith and constructed in 1928, the distinct terracotta red facades are articulated in a Spanish Mediterranean style that Smith harnesses with spectacular visual effect. Renowned for his skill at building large structures on San Francisco's hilly terrains, he became notorious as "The Hillside Architect". Our approach to create a true retreat from the city with nods to the Spanish architecture, modern updates, and views of the Golden Gate Bridge is true harmony.
